When collecting
As a rule, with rare exceptions, the aerial parts of plants accumulate the maximum number of active substances in the flowering period - this time they should be collected. The fruits contain the highest number of medicinal substances during the full maturation, the core is suitable for use during the spring sap flow; roots and rhizomes - the late autumn, after the withering of above-ground parts of plants, buds - the early spring when they are swollen but not yet set out on growth, kidney pine and birch trees can be harvested in winter.
All aboveground plant parts should be collected in good weather. as, wet with dew or rain, they deteriorate in the drying process. Underground parts of plants can dig in any weather, as before drying them to wash.
